ALL project is aimed to perform the market validation at trans-European
level of an existing pilot system deployed in Italy called ICAROS
(Integrated care vs. Conventional intervention in cArdiac insufficiency
patients Randomized Open label Study)
ICAROS
monitors and manages (using PDA's and mobile technology) heart
chronic disease patients in their daily life, offering cardiologic
and psychological assistance with an all-time and all-place on-line
mobile service. This pilot system produces real-time reports to
support clinical decision-making and aggregates data for use in
setting best practice guidelines, managing clinical outcomes and
staff training
FOR
ALL service will allow thus an integrated management (cardiac
and psychological) of cardiologic patients every time and everywhere,
making easy and continuous the interaction between patients and
hospital personal using wireless and Internet technologies at
trans-European level
